Very good place for Ramadan meals! The food is tasty, fresh, and the prices are very affordable. It’s a great option for students or anyone looking for a budget-friendly iftar. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Highly recommended if you want good food without spending too much during Ramadan.

Undoubtedly one of the best morog polau I have tried in Melbourne. Kacchi biriyani was good too. Bhuna khichuri and chotpoti were okay. Fuchka was a bit pricey. Found haleem a bit salty. Overall good experience. Can’t complain. It’s one of the oldest running Bangladeshi restaurant in Melbourne against all odds. Thank you for your service to the community.

Great place for Ramadan meals! The food is tasty and very affordable. Also, my friend Nijhum’s service is really good. I’m not saying this just because she’s my friend — you can go and check yourself! Happy Ramadan

Such a welcoming little cafe with friendly staff. Super clean. Lunch selection was generous and so were the portions. Loved their homemade pickles you could fish up for free. I had butter chicken with veggie curry+rice and papadam. All that for a bargain 10$

Fuchka good. Khichuri joss. Cha best. Sujir haluwa okay. Aloo poori fantastic. Service could be improved but wouldn’t cost them a star. Thanks for keeping the Bangladeshi standard of excellence.

Wow!! What a change!! What a chef they have now!! We went to Madhumati a few months ago. We ordered a Sorshe Ilish and never went back. It was bland, maybe a Burmese fish. Tasted awful. I have been craving for Sorshe Ilish and I thought I have no choice but to settle for the same one. This time what a turnaround! The flavour was authentic, cooked fresh, presented well and served with a smile. The portion was generous. I loved every bit of it. It was one of the best Sorshe Ilish I have ever had. Worth every cent! Keep up the great work. 5 stars all the way!!
